The sculpture (Ausente, 2024) is the result of the Artistic Residency at the Bronze Foundry Atelier at the Memorial Paranista in Curitiba.

During the residency, all stages of the wax lost process of bronze casting had been visited and executed by the artist such as: clay modeling, creation of casts, wax for replication with the addition of channels for bronze flow and gas escape, incrustation and watching the process to eliminate the wax followed by the pouring of molten bronze.

At the final process, after the piece was open, polishing and chemicals were applied to achieve patina and the desired aesthetic result.
