TATIANA ADAMI

The painting research explores immiscible paints, combining acrylic, oil, and enamel paints. This artistic practice reveals the aesthetic potential that emerges from the encounter of materials with distinct properties, resulting in abstract compositions rich in layers, textures, and tonalities.
The inspiration began with satellite imagery (Black Hole, 2023) and later expanded to aerial images, such as areas affected by forest fires in Brazil (Onde tem fumaça, tem fogo, 2024) and the resulting climatic events (Chuva Preta, 2024). The creative process also incorporates personal feelings and experiences (Primavera em Flor, 2024), elements of the nature (Immiscible Rose, 2024), and objects (Rust, 2025).
The chosen supports range from traditional canvases to discarded OSB boards and MDF sheets used as protective framing materials.
